(meta)morphosis is a practical workshop where Alejandro Marote and Álvaro Marote reveal the creative and geometric possibilities that characterize the Geodesic Dome as the most efficient construction in nature when optimizing its structural resources. This semi-spherical shape composed of a network of metal triangles will transform its external appearance thanks to the intervention of the public during the development of the workshop. To make this possible, the authors will propose that each participant intervenes on a cardboard triangle using different plastic techniques. Once all the triangular pieces are finished, the participants as a whole will be able to complete the metallic structure of the Dome installed in the room. In this way, the people who attend the course will understand how time is the key that allows the geometric transformation both in nature and in art. With this practical exercise we will travel the path between the reality of form and the pure abstraction of color.
